PRE PRODUCTION
- finding suitable actors along with audition of several actors to make sure they fit the role.
- Getting their consent.
- Setting a suitable time for filming.
- Finding a location to film( making sure it has good lighting)
- Going prior to filming and set the equipment according to the location ( like iso setting for light).
- Getting all props ready and setting the location.
- making a storyboard for each scene for easier execution.
- writing a script so the actors have their lines ready and understand the story.
- Arranging the suitable equipment like light and mic.
PRODUCTION
- Getting to the location on time.
- Getting the cast to the location on time.
- Making sure the weather is suitable ( prefer sunlight to have good natural light)
- Getting maximum shots so no re filming is required because change of light can ruin the movie opening.
- Making sure the cast is well fed and well rested.
- Rechecking each shot and checking audio.
- Taking care of the equipment so there is no damage
- Making sure that there is enough battery in the camera and light.
- Safety of the crew was kept in mind.
- Making sure all shots have been imported.
- Having an idea for the colour grading and overall editing.
- Selection of a suitable sound track
- Making a rough cut to get a overall idea of the movie opening.
- Getting opinion of other people.
- Making a presentation to describe the movie opening.
- editing it.
- Exporting the final project
