UPDATE; paper 2 and video practice

MEDIA STUDIES PAPER 2

Moving on from practicing Adobe premiere and concentrating on the written part of the exam. We first learned about solving an extract; we would watch a scene from different movies and analyse them by diving them into, misenscene, camera, editing and sound also we would link this with the main themes or representations, for example ; age,gender, regional identity,ethnicity,ability/disability...

This was definitely new to be because prior to studying ,media studies i would never ever think about the efforts behind each and every scene and now when i watch a movie or show i appreciate each and every scene.

Next is Section B. I'll admit, I often find section B extremely tricky. This section includes a question which is either based on ownership,Cross media and synergy.. etc. In this section we have to compare media production house of different countries, Hollywood of usa, lollywood of pakistan, bollywood of India and the Uk produced movies. The main goal is to completely compare which is better according to technology used to the budget and box office, also the future of the movie is to be discussed as well. 

This has been my learning experience for paper 2. I learned a lot about video making, since i have been practicing different shots like the vertigo effect and have been playing with the adobe premiere like i learned about colour grading in relation to the theme of the video filmed. I mixed two songs and it created quite an interesting tune which will help with final project; adding music and narration.
